We specialize in hotels and motels only. Our valuation experience ranges from small independent motels to large, urban full-service hotels. We can evaluate single assets or portfolios.
We have worked with nearly all major brands and understand the differences in revenue that are driven by switching brands, and the often significant PIP renovations entailed. We have also worked with numerous independent and boutique hotels.

For this reason, we employ one full-time researcher and three part-time researchers who track current listings, hotel sales, new supply, and operating data. This is all incorporated into our propriety database that includes almost 40,000 hotels across the United States. We verify all of our sales with a source similar with the sale and never just rely on market reports, which are often incomplete or inaccurate. Our goal is to have the most comprehensive database of hotel sales and other data possible, exceeding any other firm or research company regardless of size. We employ as many researchers as appraisers to make sure of this.
